Yamaichi's IC197 Series TSOP I prototype sockets were designed to socket Intel's Flash memory family. The sockets provide an excellent tool to reduce the time it takes to design and layout new board products. Design and layout modifications can be quickly implemented without scrapping or damaging the flash memory components or boards due to de-soldering. The sockets provide a reliable mechanism for pre-production board-level testing and for programming firmware changes. |
